Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree

All our cut-your-own Christmas trees for this year have now been reserved – around 500 in total. We limit how many we harvest from the Wood every year to make sure we have more for years to come. Our members got to have first pick of the trees in the Wood, and many have already made their tree their own by decorating it with tinsel, baubles and Christmas fairies. It’s going to be a duller part of the wood once they all go to their homes!

If you have reserved your own tree, you can come and cut it from this weekend onwards.

We are also in the process of receiving deliveries of more freshly cut Christmas trees from local woodlands, and by the weekend we’ll have a whole mixture of sizes to chose from in three different species: Norway spruce, nordman fir and blue spruce.
