STOP PRESS: a last chance to fungus hunt!

After a damp start to September, most of the autumn has been unseasonably warm and dry. While we're not complaining about unexpected sunshine, fungi fans have been disappointed that fine fungal specimens have been few and far between.

But all's not lost! The recent damp weather has brought on a belated flush of fungi, and in response this Saturday Anne will lead an extra fungus hunt to find the best of the treasures which have popped up in the mild, damp weather They include everyone’s favourite, the red and white spotted fly agaric, and the prized edible penny bun.
