Carving

in the wild woods

25 & 26 Sept

Learn to carve with professional artist Janine Creaye. Spend two days

deep in Wilderness Wood creating your own sculpture using specially

                                   selected timber grown on site.

The group of up to 10 participants will work in a woodland glade and around a campfire, responding to the

surrounding woodland. You’ll walk, draw and design your own piece, guided by Janine. You’ll be taught new

techniques and be encouraged to take inspiration from traditional Gothic European and Eastern carvings.

Tools will be provided but bring your own if you have them.  Tea and coffee will be available but you’ll need

to bring food or use the café during the day. There will be an organic barbeque on the Saturday evening.
