Wilderness Wood Barn Kitchen

Barn Kitchen

Our timber-frame Barn Kitchen serves a range of delicious sustainably sourced food and drink. We aim to use local and regional suppliers of fresh, sustainably farmed food and drink (with salads, veg, fruit and eggs from our own garden); we look for organic supplies and aim to let our customers know when ingredients are organic, but quality and and other issues in sustainability like carbon and supporting the local economy are just as important to us.

The local produce we use is complemented by fair-trade and organic produce from further afield when there’s nothing available nearby (tea and coffee doesn’t grow well in Sussex but our fair-trade organic suppliers overseas still get a good deal!).

The Barn Kitchen is licensed so you can enjoy a glass (or bottle!) of delicious wine or beer with your meal or as a refreshing reward after a walk in the wood.  We specialise in local, organic & biodynamic tipples, including fantastic award-winning organic wine from Limney Estate, just 1.8 miles from the wood.
