One of the horses working on the coppice site last year . |
It's coppicing time and on Sunday 14th we will have some help from the majestic working heavy horses. There will be demonstrations and talks all day from 11.00 - 4.00. Come to Wilderness Wood and enjoy a brisk winter walk to keep your blood pumping through the chilly winter months! Then enjoy a welcome treat in the barn. There's nothing better than hot chocolate, toasties and hot soup to warm chilly fingers and toes. The cafe is open all day, every day for light lunches and refreshments. Think ahead to spring. Pea sticks and bean poles now in stock as well as chestnut poles, fencing materials and our trademark Sussex oak and sweet Chestnut garden furniture. |
