Big Beech (Patrons)
A scheme for individuals, families, businesses, public bodies and foundations providing particularly generous support.
In discussion with you we can set up bespoke support schemes for a variety of facilities and programmes, with attributions and benefits designed to meet your interests.
This is a relationship tailor-made to the individual. For example, to become a Big Beech patron you might wish to:
- Provide a classroom with companion educational facilities and programmes in sustainability, ecology and English woodland
- Enable sustainability and greener living education programmes in partnership with Beyond Green Living
- Enable children from deprived urban neighbourhoods to visit, stay in and learn at Wilderness Wood
- Sponsor training and apprenticeship programmes for young people
- Inspire and support an event, festival or celebration
- Volunteer for an extended period to become an honorary Big Beech patron
- Sponsor the annual speaker programme for the Candlelit Dinners
- Support your favourite acre of the Wood
- Provide for a tailor-made biodiversity or climate change research programme
- Become a long term supplier or partner
- Become a valued friend – for example speaking at events, giving expertise and time, helping steer us in the right direction
Benefits:
- Bespoke benefits packages can be designed to meet patrons’ interests. All Big Beech patrons will receive:
- Agreed attribution for their support, including signage at the foot of the Big Beech (the biggest and probably oldest tree in Wilderness Wood)
- Invitations to exclusive patrons’ candlelit dinners, previews and special events
- Free admission to Wilderness Wood
- Special discounts on all products, events and programmes
