Discover the little creatures of the wood and make models to take home

What is it?
Discover and identify the creepy crawlies in the wood – find out who lives where and who eats who! Make a model of your best bug and record it in your special book.

How far to walk?
About a half a mile. As we will go off the paths in search of bugs, it may not be suitable for buggies.

What to wear?
Something suitable for messing about in the woods. Raincoats and good shoes if it's wet!

What if it’s wet?
We go ahead irrespective of weather conditions. So bring wellies and umbrellas if it’s soggy!
